Old Time Sugar Crowder Peas

Small, tan colored crowder pea with a brown eye. Moderately sprawling. Dry pods 7" long. 13-16 seeds per pod. Donated to SSE by Pernie Dunn, likely in the late 1980s. It was reportedly purchased by Dunn's father in 1922 at the high price of five cents a pound. SSE Accession # 108849
