Seeds are from homegrown pawpaw seedlings, from an unnamed varietie originating in Louisiana Missouri from Stark Brothers Nursery in the 1970's . Trees should be grown in semi shade in hot climates as they are a native under story tree, but will grow better in full sun in cloudy or cooler climates. Tree's have taken -27 F. with no winter injury. New seed, stratified ready to plant for 2025.
