VEGETABLES / PURSLANE
Organic Listing
Low-growing yellowish green plant similar to wild purslane (and portulaca) with larger leaves and flowers. Slightly acidic (more so in morning) tender leaves good raw or cooked, thrives in heat and drought and full sun.
2022 or 2023 seed.
Germination of three year old seed is not guaranteed.
I also have Munich Purslane (from Eric Rucker) which looks identical but I think tastes milder. A seed company may have renamed it to avoid the German pronunciation (which means gold giver - yellowish leaves)
