Portuguese Monster

90 days, Wow! This variety produced a BUNCH of 1-2 lb. tomatoes, the biggest was 2.61 lbs. (see pic) - that's with no pruning, thinning or other special care during a record hot summer. Juicy fruits, initial flavor is sharp and tangy, yet moderately sweet; good, standard tomato flavor. Good eating and excellent for sauce because of it's prolific output. Regular leaf, indeterminate vines could easily put out 70+ pounds per plant with some TLC. IL LO N,2012.
