Commercial variety from Fedco. buff skin, white flesh The quintessential Maine potato. Very adaptable to various soil and growing conditions. Large uniform tubers store extremely well and resist late blight. Kennebecs are high yielding, resistant to dry spells and the last potato taken down by the leaf hopper. Shows susceptibility to verticillium wilt and rhizoctonia.
