Red beefsteak tomato with meaty, juicy fruits with a sweet, non-acidic, and robust flavor. Staking or support is needed for these productive, indeterminate plants. 8-12 oz. fruit. Introduced by Johnson and Stokes in 1889 from seeds they received from a customer in Ohio. Named after Brandywine Creek in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
