VEGETABLES / CUCUMBER
Produces tons of 3/4" fruits resembling tiny watermelons. The plants are slow to start and are vigorous climbers that appreciate some trellising. The vines themselves are VERY thin and don't overtake the garden or shade out other plants. The fruits appear late July-October in my area. Fruits have a hint of sour/lemony flavor that some describe as a 'pickled' taste. Great for fresh eating. Saving seed is easy to replant the following year.
