Copied from another listing (Missouri Wonder, Willis):
Moderately productive, mid-season green bean that has a moderate climbing habit. Green beans are rather tough and fibrous with average flavor and slight sweetness. Plants have purple flowers, and pods are green and long with 6 beans per pod but are slightly variable in shape. SSE member and the late Dr. James Wolfe (TN WO J) introduced this variety into the 1997 SSE Yearbook Exchange. At that time, he described it as heirloom grown for 50 years by the Willis family of Hancock County, TN. Dr. Wolfe received it from Ethyl Willis, of Rogersville, TN. SSE Accession # 104711
