Red, medium-sized beefsteak tomato. Slightly flattened fruit. Indeterminate growth, regular leaves. Slight radial and concentric cracking. Moderately recessed stem end; indented or flat blossom end. A few fasciated fruit. Some variability in fruit size. 2-6 fruit per cluster. Ripe fruit measure 1.9-2.2" long by 1.7-2.7" wide and weigh 0.2-0.3lbs. Brix score: 4.75. Flower stigma level with anther cone. Plants suffered from septoria leaf spot in 2014 growout at Heritage Farm. Relatively low fruit set. Mid-season maturing. Originally introduced into the 1983 SSE Yearbook Exchange by John Rahart (NM RA J). This variety was grown by John's father, Andrew Rahart, who lived on the New York - New Jersey border (Suffern, NY - Mahwah, NJ). It was likely acquired by Andrew from a local family in his neighborhood. SSE Accession # 122245
