Pink, medium-sized beefsteak tomato. Some variation in fruit size and shape. Most fruit are highly fasciated; non-fasciated fruit tend to be smaller and more round. Moderate to severe radial cracking. Almost all fruit are cat-faced. Fruit born singly or in clusters of up to three. Indeterminate growth habit. Standard leaves. Slightly inserted stigmas. Ripe fruit reach 2.3-3.0" long by 3.0-4.1" wide and weigh 0.4-0.8 lbs. Standard flavor. Slightly sweet. Medium acidity. Meaty. Low productivity when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. Mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Charles Wyatt (MD WY C) who acquired this variety from Carolyn Male (NY MA C). Male described it as a regional heirloom from Donnie Hobson of North Carolina.
