Rattlesnake Pole Bean - Original seed from Ken Eastman, Franconia NH in 2022. I have grown every year since and saved my own seeds. 8 ft plus vines yield copious amounts of slightly flattened, 7' green beans with beautiful purple streaks. Young raw beans are actually sweet and slightly mushroomy to the taste and cook up green. Best tasting bean I have ever grown out of many varieties if picked before it gets large and starts developing beans. (Then they get stringy and don't taste the same) Pick at 5"- 7" for optimum taste. 60-70 days.
