Short 'N Sweet

Chantenay type. Excellent flavor. Crisp, juicy, and sweet, with a complex aromatic flavor. Short, triangular roots taper to a point. Skin smooth to ridged. Relatively uniform in shape and size. Roots measure 3-4.5" long, 1.7-2.0" wide and weigh 2.7-4.0oz. Core color is highly variable; color ranges from mostly yellow to dark orange. Large core. Roots mostly buried in the soil.
