Determinate. Regular leaf. Czechoslovakian heirloom. Compact/bush growth habit, early/mid-season. Bears round, red, smooth, ping pong to raquetball sized fruit with 3 chambers and lots of seeds. Very uniform. Rich red, tomato flavor. Medium juiciness/meatiness. Not sweet. Cold tolerant. Didn't bear very well in my zone 9A California hot summer--my source grew them in Washington state--but the fruit it did bear were very tasty. Bred by Milan Sodomka in Czechoslovakia, who sent it to the United States in 1976. The original name is likely Olomoucke Nízké, as suggested by Vladimir Gross, a passionate tomato grower in Brno, Czech Republic, who was doing lots of research about Czech varieties. Vended by Abundant Life Seeds in the late 1980s.
