Caroletta

Semi-det. Regular leaf. Dwarf plants, uniformly 16"/40 cm. Small to medium smooth round reddish-orange fruit. Ping pong to slightly larger than golf ball sized. Fruit are quite uniform except in size. 2-4 inner chambers, medium-small seeds, somewhat fewer seeds than the average variety with this size fruit. Skin is medium-thick. Good resistance to cracking and splitting, should travel well. Meaty, beefsteak slicer flavor in a small tomato. Not sweet. Benefits from having skin peeled if eaten fresh. Skin is removed easily with no special treatment.
