Dona Berta de Oraxum

Single Image
VEGETABLES / BEAN
DRY-BUSH
Very rare pink dry bush bean from Guatemala. Got a decent crop. Originally caught my eye over 10 years ago when Will Bonsall listed it. Not sure where many of his seeds went. I suspect it came from someone named "Doña Berta," but I don't know where "Oraxum" is or what it translates to. I suspect this bean has some important indigenous genetics. It has runners, like many beans from this region. They climbed up my neighbor's sunflower stems & produced OK in spite of limited sun.
