Pigmy

A true micro-dwarf cherry tomato bred from modern compact tomato lines developed in the late 20th and early 21st century, building on early dwarf research work that began with Florida’s Micro-Tom line and later selections from hobby breeders working toward reliable, extreme-dwarf, open-pollinated types. This selection represents the refinement of that breeding movement: an indoor- and container-friendly, seed-stable dwarf chosen for tight internodes, early fruiting, and dependable production in very small pots. Plants stay extremely compact, averaging 20–30 cm in height, with dense foliage and short branching. Fruits are small red cherries, bright and tangy with good balance, produced in clusters and setting well even in limited-soil environments. Performs reliably in 1-gallon containers, windowsills, balconies, and small patio growing setups. Designed for growers with minimal space who still want fresh tomatoes from seed.
