FLOWERS / POPPY
Organic Listing
This breadseed poppy mix originally took hold in my garden when I let the local poppies in the neighborhood grow out in a bed. I've grown out seeds from this mix for a couple years now, and they pollinate with whatever other breadseed poppies are blooming here in the southeast corner of the city in the late spring. This mix includes red--some lighter and some darker--and corals, lavenders, purples, and even an unusual orange too. Some have double flowers, some have fringed petals, some have smooth edged petals. Some of the poppies have white pollen; others blue. All are prolific producers of seed for baking. Bees love them. Fresh seeds; collected in 2024.
