Scionwood ($8) and two 2-year old trees ($30) grafted on OHxF x 333 pear rootstock. Medium to large fruit eaten raw when soft, or used in jelly. When soft, Breda Giant Medlar fruit tastes like cinnamon spiced apple butter. A dwarf variety, grows to 8 ft tall. Dutch origin. Self-fruitful. Zone 4-10. CHILL HOURS: 400 hours below 45F DISEASE RESISTANCE: Very good. Rarely experiences cedar apple rust.
