Excellent, mid-season yellow sweet corn. In the early 1980s, Johnny's Selected Seeds described this variety as having the best flavor of the open-pollinated sweet corns. Kernels are sweet, creamy, and tender. There is some variation in the flavor from plant to plant but the best ears are very good. Ears have a nice size, shape and color (deep yellow-orange). Two ears per plant. Ears average 6" long and are well-filled. Plants average 5 feet tall. Most plants have no tillers.
