Ponderosa Golden

A 1914 variety from Peter Henderson and Co. Seed Company that was a gold variant of Henderson’s Ponderosa of 1891. Large fruits are slightly ribbed and flat beefsteaks, 10-16 ounces or more, and deep golden yellow. Mild, sweet flavor and meaty with few locules. Regular leaves, indeterminate. About 80 days to maturity after transplanting.
