Pole. Wax bean. Moderately climbing wax bean. Very juicy and crisp, good texture and flavor as a snap bean. Dry beans have good flavor and texture. Pods yellow-green at snap stage. Wide, flat pods develop light pink stripes at maturity. Leathery dry pods constrict around seeds. Pods usually born in pairs. Fully expanded pods measure 5.7-6.7" long and 0.5-0.7" wide. 8 seeds per pod. Large flat, tan oval seeds. White flowers. Early maturing. Low productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018 under high disease pressure. Donated to SSE by Glenn Drowns (IA DR G) who acquired the variety from Peace Seeds of Oregon. SSE Accession # 102422
