Green, spear-shaped leaves with undulating edges and no surface blistering. Loose head formation. Excellent eating qualities - rich flavor, low-moderate bitterness, great texture. Donated to SSE by William Woys Weaver (PA WE W) who obtained it from Arche Noah; a rare medieval variety. SSE Accession # 112540
