Butterhead. Moderate to well-developed head. Light yellow-green, broad leaves with moderate surface blistering. Smooth, slightly undulating leaf margin. Largest leaves average 6.7" long by 8.3" wide. Good eating qualities. Moderately crisp and sweet. White seeded. Acquired by SSE from John Hartman (IN HA J) who obtained the variety from CV Egesa (Germany). SSE Accession # 111560
