Celosia argentea var. cristata, cockscomb celosia. Large, crested magenta flower heads measure 6.7-15" wide. Plants stand 2-2.75' tall. Wide stems and vibrant lime green foliage. An all-season favorite among staff and visitors in the 2025 Heritage Farm evaluation garden. Some susceptibility to lodging. One branching, crested offtype observed in the 2025 growout.
