Susan's Red Bibb

An attractive large, red looseleaf. Highly ruffled, blistered, and toothed leaves. Tips of inner leaves are a dark rosy red. Tender, average flavor. Plants reach 6-7" tall and 13-15" wide. Average bolting resistance. White seed. Donated to SSE in the 1980s by Nancy Price (OH PR N) who acquired it from Susan Cox (ND CO S). A variety by this name has been exchanged in the SSE Yearbook Exchange for at least 20 years. SSE Accession # 111460
