C.-ARGYROSPERMA
A buff-colored, necked winter squash. Moist, smooth flesh that is moderately sweet. Flavor is not outstanding on its own but the deep orange flesh would make a great pie. Squash have a smooth rind with superficial ridges. Fruit measure 15-19" long, 5-7" wide at the bulbous end, and 7-8 pounds. Flesh is thin at the bulbous end but solid along the neck. Brix in 2017 was 9.0. Dry matter content 7.8%. Highly vining plants. Below average productivity in 2017. Some variability in size of fruit and neck length/curvature. Late maturing.
