Poblano

Sweet, medium-thin walled. Great flavor, mild heat, crunchy and juicy. Heart shaped fruit are good for chili powder. Called Ancho when dried and Poblano when green. Bright red triangular fruit measure 3-4" long, 1.7-2.0" wide, and weigh 1.0-1.8oz. Dark green immature fruit. Very thin walls with few seeds. White flowers. Green stems. Upright plants with few branches measure 2.2-2.4' tall. Moderate productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. SSE Accession # 116399
