Garden radish. Red roots have white flesh with pink spots or concentric rings, range cylindrical to elliptic to round in shape, half to mostly buried, smooth skin. Mild to medium spice, crispy, juicy, light texture. Market mature bulbs 1-2" long, 1.25-1.75" wide, and 0.5-1.5 oz. Leaves highly lobed, medium in length, abundant hairiness, semi prostrate. Plants 7-15" in diameter. Early to mid-season bolting and prone to splitting with alternate periods heavy rain and dry weather when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. This variety was released in 1948 by A.R. Zwaan & Son and an All America Selection. Acquired by SSE from Midwest Seed Growers. SSE Accession # 118694
