White Dutch

Strongly climbing plants with green leaves and white flowers. Fully expanded immature pods measure 6-9.7" long and 0.7" wide. Fresh pods are crisp, crunchy, and refreshing. 2-6 shiny, solid white seeds per pod. Moderately productive when grown in 2025 at Heritage Farm. Jeffrey Fleming (Donor) donated the White Dutch Runner Bean to SSE in 2009 after SSE Heritage Farm requested the variety through the Exchange in 2007. Jeffrey got the seeds from the Vermont Bean Seed Company (Original Source) in the early 1990’s. Jeffrey and over half a dozen Exchange members have listed the White Dutch Runner Bean on the Exchange for 18 years. SSE Accession # 130570
