Oxheart tomato. Big heart-shaped fruit are bicolor with orange/yellow on top and pink on the bottom. Some fruit can be slightly flattened. Fruit measure 2.8-4.6 inches long, 3.8-5 inches wide, and weigh up to 1.75 pounds. Fruit have major cat-facing and fasciation. Low splitting, but fruit had major cracking. Indeterminate with standard leaves. Flower stigmas are even. Low yielding and mid-season maturing when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. BRIX reading 4.0. Donated to SSE in 2014 by Evelyn McGlothlin of Clay, West Virginia. Evelyn has been stewarding the variety since 2005, when she received seeds of this tomato from her mother, Alta Brady. Evelyn is unsure how long the variety has been grown in her family, or where Alta first got seeds, the variety has been in the Brady/McGlothlin family since at least 1990.
