Grey Challengers

Climbing vine with pigmented nodes. Large, kidney-shaped seeds with a cream-beige background, indigo mottling, and a blue eye. Pods hang pendant throughout the canopy and turn pale tan in color at maturity. Violet flowers. 11-12 seeds per pod. Average productivity when grown in 2023 at Heritage Farm. Mid-season maturing. NOTE: This variety has some minor purity issues. Some plants may produce seeds that are beige and lack any mottling. If you are saving seed, do not save these off-type seeds. SSE Accession # 108967
