Garlic Chives

Shorter variety than some other garlic chives; spreads vigorously both by new bulbs and by a rhizome, unusual for an Allium. Pastel-pink flowers in late spring turn white to gray, then give way to viable (but short-lived) black seeds. Specify seed or bulbs, otherwise in winter, seed will be sent. In spring or summer; bulbs with shoots will be sent; 12 to a package.
