Vines grow to 2-3' in height. Vigorous and highly productive. Flowers have pink standard and purple-red wings. Purple stipule ring. Curved, green pods remain mostly flat. Sweet, tender snow pea. Also flavorful as a soup pea with firm texture. Requires longer than usual cooking time. Pronounced constriction around expanded seeds. Mature pods average 3" long by 0.6" wide. Non-shattering dry pods. Slightly flattened, dimpled seeds are tan with fine purple speckling. Non-pigmented hilum. Yellow cotyledons. Early maturing.
