Aji Limo Red

Capsicum chinense. This is the real Aji Limo, not the imposter Lemon Drop (C. baccatum). The latter has been confused with Aji Limo due to misinformation. I'm a botanist who has been to Peru and studied the primary Capsicums (see other listings). There is an outside chance some seed may be crossed with Madre Vieja ( C. baccatum). Any cross-species hybrids would be obvious (orange) and unlikely. This race of Aji Limo originally came from the Hippy Seed Co., in Australia. It's larger than the last race I distributed. Very productive and deep red when mature. Very hot and good for hot sauce making.
