Rare Red Butterpea

Pole lima. Best eaten dry. The dry limas have an earthy flavor and a nice texture. They are small and brownish-pink with red mottling. They were 98% hard seeded. The pods were small with blunt tips, measuring 2-2.5" long. SSE Accession # 112561
