Leaves deep green with thick stems, curling slightly inward. Very strong parsley flavor, pungent, slightly bitter. Stalks or stems were very tough. Grown by Tammy Laverty in 2022 for the Collection Documentation Project; she commented "Very strong growth throughout the season, only slowing in December." Also gown by Jeanette Lawson in 2023 for for the Collection Documentation Project; she noted "extremely tolerant of cold and heat and showed no signs of disease or insect damage...Leaves made a spicy addition to salads."
