Arctium This came from a very healthy Burdock plant. It was over 6 feet tall and the leaves were so beautiful and huge. I used many of them as mulch in the garden. I also use them in Comfrey tea fertilizer. I didn't' have to do much to care for this plant. I watered when it didn't rain, fertilized with worm casting tea and worm castings worked into the soil when I planted into the ground. I bought this plant as a seedling from our local Mennonites in Spring of 2024. They also use organic practices. This plant was healthy throughout it's life and left a ton seeds. The leaves and roots are plant medicine and food. The roots are a coffee substitute. I found this plant easy to grow and needs little maintenance. Sourced on Love of Lotus Apothecary and Farm in East Tennessee. Germ Test 98%. Tested in November 2025
