Market mature fruit dark green with light green stripes and speckling. Variation in amount of speckling and intensity of stripes. Black spines on elevated warts. Glossy skin. Moderate ribbing. Angular in cross-section. Pale green to white flesh. Mild flavor; slightly sweet; crisp but not very juicy. Fruit 6-9" long, 1.7-2.4" wide, and 3-8oz. Seed mature fruit yellow; very large; 11-14" long, 3.6-4.2" wide, and 2-5lbs. Claimed to be eaten at the seed mature stage, but flavor and texture was much better at immature stage. Mid-season maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 109417
