Very petite, compact butterhead lettuce with highly blistered and slightly curly leaves. Mature leaves have red coloration throughout with dark green undertones and a slightly tougher texture while interior leaves in the head are yellow green with a red tinge at the top and a crisp juicy texture. Plants are small but virgorous and have good cold tolerance. Heads are crisp and juicy with a slightly buttery taste. Market mature plants 5-6" tall and 9.5-11.5" in diameter. White seeded.
