Emerald

Long and thin, green pods. Prickly. Pods are a mixture of curved and straight. Pods are smooth with indistinct ridges. Good flavor and less slimy than average. Green plants have some red pigment on the stem and leaf-petiole junction. Dry pods measure 5-8" long by 0.5-0.7" wide. Plants were affected by bacterial wilt in 2014 Heritage Farm growout. Little to no lodging. Acquired by SSE from Willhite Seed Inc. SSE Accession # 114029
