This garlic was collected from a farmer's garden near the village of Omonqotan, Uzbekistan. (at approx. 39degrees 18.024 minutes N, 66 degrees 55.057 minutes E; 1590 meters above sea level). This description of its origin was provided by Dr. Barbara Hellier from the USDA, who was one of the people who collected it in 2004, along with Dr Phil Simmon, Dr Furkat Khassanov. I got this garlic from Mason Welter.
