Harvest young (softball‑sized) in summer for tender green flesh and delicate seeds, or let ripen to melon size (3+ lbs) for hearty winter storage. Excellent baked and frozen for later use. Delicious paired with hot or sweet peppers, apples, or pears.
This is a garden mix with traits resembling C. moschata or C. argyrosperma, but exact species is unknown. Please grow away from other squash if saving seed.
