P. peruviana. Large fruited, Cape Gooseberry type. Plants up to 4 feet tall and highly branched. Fruit are slightly larger than traditional ground cherries and plants are later maturing and less productive. Best grown in regions with a longer season than Heritage Farm. Fruit is slightly tart, but has a nice sweetness to it like a just-ripe kiwi. This variety was donated to SSE in 2001 by Suzanne Ashworth (CA AS S). A variety by this name has been exchanged in the SSE Yearbook Exchange for more than 20 years. SSE Accession # 110983
