Flour corn. Kernels are large and dark purple to dark blue. Ears are cylindrical shaped and 5-10 inches long and 1.4-1.6" wide. Cobs are approximately 70% white and 30% red. Stems green with few tillers. Leaves pendant with a moderate surface area. Plants 6-8' tall. Mid-season maturing, little lodging, and sparse ear damage when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Acquired by SSE from the Abundant Life Seed Foundation (CV Abu), likely in the early 1990s. CV Abu indicated that this variety is an "Indian corn originating in South Dakota." SSE Accession # 108366
