Bush dry bean grows without runners. Productive plants dry first pods in about 85 days. Seed coat seems like a modified Jacob's Cattle pattern. Depending on the soil the bean is grown in, the seed coats display of red to white ratio can have noticeable swings back and forth. Once a part of John Withee's Wanigan bean collection where I first obtained the bean in the late 1970's. An Ernest B. Dana of Etna, N.H. original bean donated to Wanigan. I donated this variety to the Henry Double Research Assoc. in the UK (now known as Garden Organic) in 1980 . When I reacquired this bean in 2015 I found a donor in Oxford, England. SSE Bean 1777. Both the photos of this variety shown on the SSE online Seed Exchange is the same bean grown in different locations. Not the result of outcrossing.
