Joe's Big Blocky Red

Classic red bell pepper. Large fruit ranging from triangular to bell-shaped. Fruit matures from green to dark red. Mature fruit 3-6" long, 3-4" wide, 4-8 oz. Can be a shy producer, but fruit have good, sweet flavor. Mid-season maturing. Plants 2-2.5' tall. C. annuum. Donated to SSE by Louis Marcelina (MA MA L) who obtained the variety in 1984 from William Lyons (MA LY W). SSE Accession # 116479
