Acquired by SSE in the 1990s from Teresa Kotlinska, Head of the Plant Genetic Resources Lab in Skierniewice, Poland, who collaborated with SSE during collecting trips in Eastern Europe. This variety is originally from the Vavilov Research Institute in Russia. SSE Accession # 125048
