Lemme's Italian Sweet

Sweet pepper with long, slender, pointed, and slightly curving fruit. We found some fruit had very subtle heat in the placenta. Fruit ripen from green to red. 4-8" long, 1-1.75" wide. Thin walled. Plants erect with little branching, up to 30" tall. Early maturing, high productivity, and severe lodging when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Good flavor, moderately sweet, with a somewhat tough skin. Capsicum annuum. Acquired by SSE from Darrell Merrell (OK ME D) who received this variety from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange in 1996.
