Princess Feather

Plants 5-7' tall with dark red stems and petioles. Elliptic leaves dark red to purple with a slight green hue. Dark red to purple flowers are horizontal to slightly drooping in position and have short side branches. Inflorescence head not very dense, but inflorescence branches found along entire stem. Lodging common in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE by Walt Grote (AR GR W). SSE Accession # 100156
