Pomme D'Or

C. pepo. Winter squash. Small round fruit are bright yellow. Smooth, very hard and thick rind. Prolific plants. Stringy texture, not sweet, subtle flavor, drier flesh. Mature fruit average 2.5" long and wide; 5.5 oz. Roasted seeds have standard flavor, good texture, puff up slightly when roasted. Vining plants. Leaves distinctly lobed; silvering ranges from strong to weak. SSE Accession # 120190
